Parents'
Page
I
am so glad to have your child join me this year. We have a lot of
things to do and accomplish. Please make sure you check out all the
other pages on my website. The syllabi for both Reading and
English are found under the class pages. The autobiography unit
gives a rundown on what the students will be writing about and
expectations for completion of the project. We also have
available Edline for you. This is the school site that you can
get on and see what your child's grades are for his subjects and what
past assignments he/she has done. It will also let you know which
assignments are missing. It's a handy tool as grades are updated
on a weekly basis by Tuesday night. If you don't know how to get
on line or don't know your password, call the office (596-2020), and
they will contact Mrs. Walsh to make sure you get it. You may
also contact me by email at smcmackin@msad5.org
with any questions or concerns. I hope to hear from you.
BLUE
TEAM DISCIPLINE POLICY
STEP
ONE - Verbal or written
warning (name on board, etc.).
Student will be
warned to change his/her behavior and to focus on the lesson.
STEP
TWO - Teacher detention.
Warnings have been ineffective
and a detention
has been assigned.
Students will be given a 24 hour
notice. It is the
student's responsibility to notify his/her parents
of the detention.
STEP
THREE - Referral to
office. Warnings and detention notice
have been
ineffective.
The student's disruptive behavior
warrants removal from
