Necessary Technology

1. Comprehensive Technology Inventory will be completed during the summer of 2006. Network Description Computer count by location Repairs Graph Ratio of students to computers by location Hardware/software list
2. enGuage : A Framework for Effective Technology Use was completed by teachers, administrators, and technical staff in February of 2006. The assessment examines 6 essential conditions to effective technology use. Project Disaggregation by Grade Level Results Goal; To increase mean score in all 6 essential conditions to the adoption level at each grade span.
3. Technology Suppport Index (TSI) was completed by the Technology Plan Committee in May of 2006. Results for MSAD #5 Assessment Results Recommendations Goal: Move to Satisfactory Efficiency in each of the four domains: • Equipment Standards — Focuses upon consistent equipment and software decisions that can directly impact the quality of support provided. •Staffing and Processes — Addresses technical assistance staffing and the support practices used that can impact efficiencies in support. •Professional Development — Considers how strong professional development can impact a team's ability to provide support. •Enterprise Management — Identifies strategies that capitalize upon the technology itself to provide strong support.
